Lauren Umeugo is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 15 years of experience in the mental health field. She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Fordham University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Bennett College.
Throughout her career, Lauren has supported and counseled children and families as a School Social Worker in both public and private school settings. She brings extensive expertise in working with survivors of domestic violence, providing both therapeutic support in safe house environments and psychotherapy to individuals and couples in private practice. Her clinical focus includes complex trauma, depression, anxiety, and life transitions.
Currently, Lauren serves as a Clinical Supervisor for a national anti-human trafficking organization. In this role, she utilizes a trauma-informed, holistic approach to foster resilience, healing, and empowerment for the individuals and communities she serves.
